I have been a professional framing monkey for over 35 years. It’s a good thing I get paid peanuts, cause I’m allergic to bananas (cue bad joke groan). I have framed everything from a pencil sketch to a piece of a 7,000 year old mummy. If it will sit still, I can frame it. Some people think I’m funny, but looks aren’t anything.

People call me one of those Robots-with-Emotions, with a weird algorithm built in.
Favorite quote: “If there is a solution to a problem, there is no need to worry. And if there is no solution to a problem, there is no need to worry.”

I point out things because I care.

Very hard to believe …. I’ve been in DC for over 40 years and lucky enough to have started Frame of Mine in 1982!!! That’s right … this is our 40th year here on the Hill.

Over the years I have worked and currently work with the most wonderful people. But, best of all, I have so enjoyed getting to know so many Hillonians through the shop. Your support over these many years has been more than I ever would have dreamed.

Who ever thought a former Biology teacher and nurse would end up in such a happy place!

  • Lewis

Lewis has been the hardest working man in show business. He has been at Frame of Mine for 34 years, becoming the senior production manager, master mat board cutter, and all around teddy bear. Super Star Wars nerd and artist, Lewis is also guest artist at comic cons up and down the East Coast.
