I have been a professional framing monkey for over 35 years. It’s a good thing I get paid peanuts, cause I’m allergic to bananas (cue bad joke groan). I have framed everything from a pencil sketch to a piece of a 7,000 year old mummy. If it will sit still, I can frame it. Some people think I’m funny, but looks aren’t anything.

People call me one of those Robots-with-Emotions, with a weird algorithm built in.
Favorite quote: “If there is a solution to a problem, there is no need to worry. And if there is no solution to a problem, there is no need to worry.”

I point out things because I care.

Very hard to believe …. I’ve been in DC for over 40 years and lucky enough to have started Frame of Mine in 1982!!! That’s right … this is our 40th year here on the Hill.

Over the years I have worked and currently work with the most wonderful people. But, best of all, I have so enjoyed getting to know so many Hillonians through the shop. Your support over these many years has been more than I ever would have dreamed.

Who ever thought a former Biology teacher and nurse would end up in such a happy place!

  • Lewis
